Welcome to Raine’s Foundation

Welcome to Raine’s Foundation School website.  I hope that you find the information provided here interesting and useful and that it gives you a flavour of the school today.

Raine’s is a highly successful school:

  • It is academically successful – last year we featured in the top 25 schools in the country including the grammar schools and the public schools.

  • Our 6th form students are highly successful in gaining university places.

  • We are successful on the sports field and can boast many international sportsmen and women and an Olympian.

  • We pride ourselves on the success of our community work including building bridges between differing factions in the Holy Land.

However, most importantly, being successful means that Raine’s is a lovely place in which to work and study.

Many of our current parents comment on the positive relationships that exist between staff and pupils and the sense of pride that both groups feel towards this unique school.  Raine’s is an ancient institution steeped in history and tradition but we have not lost sight of modern developments; have moved with the times and are leaders in many aspects of education.

As a Church of England School we get inspected by Ofsted and by SIAS. Please click the links on the right or below to see what they said about us.
